Bringing your listing photos to Rellia
Quick answer
At the end of the listing import, Rellia asks how you want to handle photos. You have three choices: upload photos you already have, book a photographer or read photo tips, or add photos later. Rellia never downloads photos from other sites. You save your own photos to your device and upload them yourself.
The three choices
"Yes, I have photos"
Upload from the device you're on, or get a link to upload from your phone. If you imported from your own listing link, Rellia shows a Bring over your photos helper:
- An Open my listing button opens your listing in a new tab, in your own browser.
- Short steps show how to save photos on a phone or a computer.
- When you're done, tap I've saved my photos and drop the files in or choose them.
Only image files are accepted. If you drag in a web address instead of a saved photo, Rellia asks you to save the file first.
"No, I don't have photos yet"
You can book a photographer through Rellia or read photo tips before you shoot your own.
"I'll add them later"
Your listing is sent for staff review as Coming soon, and your dashboard gets an "Upload photos" task. Rellia sends a few reminders (after 1, 3 and 7 days, then weekly), and they stop as soon as a photo arrives, the listing is withdrawn or goes public, or you unsubscribe. See Coming soon listings.
Confirming you can use the photos
Before you can upload, you tick a box confirming: "I took these photos, own them, or have permission from the photographer to use them." Photos taken by a professional photographer usually belong to that photographer, so check before you reuse them. Rellia records your confirmation, and staff may follow up with you to verify it.
What happens to the photos
Every photo goes through Rellia's photo safety checks. Location and other hidden data are removed from the file, and photos are reviewed before they appear on a public listing. Every listing goes through Rellia staff review before it can appear publicly. Nothing goes live automatically.
If you believe a photo on Rellia is yours and was used without permission, see the copyright page.
