Acceptable Use Policy

Rules governing use of the Rellia Platform.

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are not allowed on the Rellia Platform. It applies to all users: buyers, sellers, ecosystem partners, and guests. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, referral to law enforcement, and legal action.

1. You must not misuse the Platform

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

  • use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, including anti-discrimination law, fair housing law, consumer protection law, tax law, or anti-money-laundering law;
  • impersonate any person or entity, including a buyer, seller, attorney, title agent, lender, or Rellia employee;
  • upload or transmit inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading information, including false disclosures, fake pre-approval letters, fabricated inspection reports, or falsified identification;
  • commit, attempt, or facilitate wire fraud, check fraud, identity theft, or any other form of fraud;
  • send wire instructions outside the Platform, solicit another user to do so, or act on wire instructions received outside the Platform;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against any other user or Rellia employee;
  • violate the Fair Housing Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, or any applicable anti-discrimination law in your listing, communications, or transaction decisions;
  • circumvent the Platform Fee by attempting to close a transaction off-platform after introduction through the Platform during the tail period, as described in the Seller Terms of Service;
  • scrape, crawl, index, mirror, or otherwise collect Platform data in bulk without our prior written consent;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Platform;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, except under an authorized security research program;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Platform, its servers, or networks, including through denial-of-service attacks or malware;
  • use the Platform to send spam, phishing, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications;
  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or otherwise commercialize any part of the Platform, except as expressly permitted;
  • remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
  • create or register more than one account, operate on behalf of anyone else without express written authorization, or share your credentials.

2. Prohibited listings

Sellers must not list:

  • property you do not have the right to sell;
  • property subject to an exclusive listing agreement with a broker or agent;
  • property you are selling as part of a commercial reselling or flipping operation that requires a real estate broker's license;
  • property that includes illegal improvements, unremediated environmental hazards, or undisclosed material defects that violate disclosure laws;
  • listings that include discriminatory language, images, or terms that violate fair housing laws.

3. Prohibited content

You must not upload or share content that is:

  • illegal, fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise actionable under any law;
  • infringing on the intellectual property rights of any third party;
  • malware, viruses, or code designed to disrupt the Platform or other users;
  • personally identifiable information of another person you are not authorized to share.

4. Security

  • You must enable and maintain MFA.
  • You must protect your credentials and not share them.
  • You must report suspected security incidents or fraud to Rellia immediately through the in-product "Report fraud" flow or by email to security@relliahomes.com.

5. Consequences of violation

  • We may warn you, suspend your account, terminate your account, remove your content, or report you to law enforcement if we believe in good faith that you have violated this AUP.
  • We may preserve and disclose information about you if required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Policy.
  • Violations of this AUP may also breach your Buyer Terms of Service or Seller Terms of Service, and any consequences under those Terms apply in addition.

6. Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to support@relliahomes.com. For security-specific concerns or suspected fraud, use security@relliahomes.com or the in-product "Report fraud" button.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform.
